Following you will find an update on my bicycle riding statistics for week 4 of 2019. The update covers the dates Monday 22nd of January to Sunday 28th of January.
|Tuesday||13.8 km||55 mins|
|Wednesday||17.4 km||62 mins|
|Thursday||15.2 km||65 mins|
|Saturday||18 km||67 mins|
|Sunday||7.2 km||21 mins|
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Saturday with a total distance of 18 km. While the lowest day was Sunday with a total distance of 7.2 km.
I got on the bike a total of 5 times this week for a total distance of 71.6 km. Giving me an average of 14.3 km per ride day across the week. My total time on the bike this week was 4 hours and 30 minutes. With my riding this week that gives me 71.6km year to date, leaving 4928.4 km for my goal.
Tuesday is the first day that I am getting on my bike and starting on my goal to ride 5,000 km this year. If you would like to know more about the goal you can find that in Time to Ride – Peddling 5,000km in 2018.
Being the first week I think maybe I have not got off to the best start. At the beginning of the week, the needed average distance daily was 14.57 km. However, I only got on the bike five days this week with an average distance of 14.32 km per ride. Leaving me with a new daily average of 14.66 km per day.
So my goal for next week is to get on the bike every day. I am not entirely certain how this will go as there is some bad weather forecast. But we will see, if I want to achieve this 5,000 km goal I am going to have to work around that.
