Riding Numbers

I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.

First up is the highest day for the week which was Saturday with a total distance of 20.3 km. While the lowest day was Friday with a total distance of 5 km.

I got on the bike a total of 7 times this week for a total distance of 107.1 km. Giving me an average of 15.3 km per ride day across the week. My total time on the bike this week was 6 hours and 23 minutes. With my riding this week that gives me 178.7 km year to date, leaving 4,821.3 km for my goal.

Other Thoughts

As a whole this week was almost the perfect example of what I need to do for the next 47 weeks to achieve my goal. Essentially if I did everything the same I would achieve the goal with a bit to spare.

Individual days might not have achieved the minimum, but they were made up for by other days that I managed to ride further. I started the week needing an average of 14.66 km per day and finished the week needing 14.65km per week. It might seem like a small shift, but it is definitely in the right direction.
